Dr. Syed Sehrish is the second woman from Kashmir who topped the Kashmir Administrative Service exam in the year 2011. She is the second Muslim woman from the state of Jammu and Kashmir who has cleared the UPSC exam in 2012. Syed Sehrish is an IAS officer who was born in Jammu and Kashmir. Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar (IAS) is tenanting the office as Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla. The 2013 IAS batch has also served as Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Director Information Kashmir, Mission Director, Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission.
